Two year old Bey came in with multiple other dogs in NYC. According to the shelter: "Bey came in as a stray, so her past behaviors in a home are unknown. At intake it was reported Bey was friendly and loose for all handling. During SAFER Bey came into the assessment room calm and relaxed, she was friendly and affectionate towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Bey appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels she can be suitable for an “Average” adopter."

Bey greets other dogs with a loose, wiggly body and solicits and engages in high energy, rowdy play with body slams and paw slaps but takes appropriate breaks in play to keep the arousal level below threshold. Bey is incredibly tolerant of pushy males and hyper-motivated players and offers appropriate corrections for behavior that makes her uncomfortable. 

Bey was adopted and returned for no fault of her own. Bey is disinterested in cats and is very dog social and would do well with a canine companion . $250 adoption fee.  Please apply to adopt on our web site
