Beckham was surrendered by his owner to an urban NY shelter. This three year old boy is quiet, sweet and loving in our care ... "one of the nicest dogs here" according to his caregiver.  Beckham did well on all aspects of his temperament evaluation, and is social with other dogs. 

His shelter profile is: " According to his previous owner Beckham has been around children ages 13 to 15 years old and plays exuberantly with them. Around other dogs Beckham is playful and plays gently with them. Around cats Beckham is playful. Beckham is house trained and rarely has any accidents. Beckham's previous owner describes him as playful, affectionate, pushy, confident, excitable, anxious, independent and friendly. The behavior department feels that he may do best with an experienced adopter. We also recommend a home without young children; older children can be considered pending interaction."
