Meet me on Oct 26 in Concord NH Bryce is a 9 mo old hound mix puppy. He is very needy, clingy. Loves attention and is very lovable, & gives kisses! He gets along with my 3 large dogs and cat. He's curious about the cat, but the hissing reaction from my cat, tends to cause him to back away. He is high energy, as most puppies are. He gets a lot of outdoor play time to wear him out. (Tired puppies are less likely to get into trouble) He doesn't play with toys, he's more focused on his K9 companions. Because he is a puppy he will need consistent regular obedience training to blossom into a well rounded family member. -Bryce is walked on leash by my 7.5 yr old son, he pulls a little, he's getting better. -Bryce knows "sit", being a puppy, his attention span is limited, meaning he sits for a few seconds and goes back to his bouncy high energy self. Because he was nearly starved when he was brought to rescue, he eats very fast, I take the food and hand feed him one at a time, to avoid choking or vomiting. With water, he tends to drink it like it's the last bowl, drinks a lot very fast. I'm not sure if he is susceptible to bloat, I also don't want to find out. I only put a cup down at a time. And wait 10 minutes between cups. Bryce is crated when I'm not home and when we go to sleep. Bryce keeps a clean crate. (He also doesn't bark all night.) Likes beef bones with some peanut butter in the middle. He's such a great puppy and will make a wonderful pet to a family who can commit to obedience -for his sake. -If he is not taken out 1st thing in the morning, he will pee in the house. He is very sweet, and such a joy to have around. -Hounds are highly likely to take off after a scent, fenced yard or leash should be mandatory.
