I met Penny just after she was picked up as a stray in Miami. She was a mess - 47lbs, covered in mange, non-weight bearing on her rear leg, her eyes a mess, and a baseball-size mammory mass hanging from her absomen. Because I lost the keys to the SUV I borrowed, I sat on a bench talking to her for over an hour while waiting for AAA. Two days later, I visited Penny and she was so sweet and happy - I had to take her. Penny is a love.
