NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND.
INTRODUCING.... Rhett
Rhett is a handsome 2-3 yr old, 100 lb rottweiler originally from GA. He is dog social and cat safe, and is an affectionate guy all the way around. He loves to be outside (or inside... he's not picky) and is a lower energy guy. He is house trained and crate trained.
Rhett is special needs. We don't know what happened in his past, but based on what we do know, we can take a guess. We think Rhett was likely hit by a car and has a brain injury. He is wobbly but not unsteady on his feet. He doesn't see well in low light. And he takes a minute to comprehend his surroundings. What does that mean for a forever family? He's not a hiking dog; he would do best without a large family with children; he probably will not bark at the Amazon guy; he probably won't do well in a house with an excessive number of stairs.
We have done all the medical testing we can do, short of a brain scan (and then what? confirm that he's a simple guy?) and no amount of treatment has changed. What we DO know is that everyone who meets him ***LOVES*** him.
Rhett's adoption fee is waived. We are looking for the right family for him because that's what he deserves. We all love Rhett and we hope you will too. From Dale's heart -- please give this boy a forever family. NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND. 4theloveofdog.org #specialneedsdog #adoptarottweiler
