My name is Tulip. I'm told I'm about 2 years old. Everyone calls me a lap dog because I love to be super close to my people. I've been told it can be too much at times so my foster mom is working with me on boundaries. I'm super sweet and love to play. I walk very well on a leash and I'm potty trained but it's best to keep me on a schedule. I find cats interesting so sometimes I chase them, but I'd never hurt them. Sometimes when I play, I can be a little mouthy, but I never bite down. I just don't know how to act like a lady just yet. So, my foster mom says I am in charm school and when I do really well, I get cookies! I've been told I need to earn them, so I know when I did a really good job. I've been getting lots of cookies lately! Gee, I hope she won't make me balance a book on my head like I see on tv! I go in my crate easily and I only bark a few times when I go in at night, then I'm quiet as a church mouse. I am not possessive of food or toys, and you can take them away from me easily. My foster mom thinks I need a home without toddlers because when I play my legs are like Gumby and go everywhere. I hope to find my forever home with YOU!  My foster home is in upstate NY, but I can live anywhere. Local families are encouraged to apply.
