Our 18 mo old Rockie was adopted and then returned because of [human] allergies.  Originally dubbed "dumb as a rock he’s a lover & a hugger", this boy is full of puppy energy. Rockie loves all of his toys, and is especially fond of his rope toy and tough-chewer balls.  Obedience training comes easy to this guy - he is so very food motivated. His first family took him through training classes, and he loved everyone, tho was a little over-zealous with small dogs in the group. 

Rockie loves everyone. Despite having springs in his feet while outside playing, he loves giving kisses and being scratched all over. He is great at reminding you that you need to take a break from your (remote) work, doing his best rottie lean.  Car rides -- he's a portrait of perfection: "it's so much fun sticking my head out the window and enjoying the fresh air and the sun on my face."

Rockie will do well with any family, especially ones with sturdy kids and other dogs. He's acceptable with a confident cat, but ones who act like toys are a great temptation for him.
