​Gigi wrote this while in the shelter in Tennessee. Now it's August and she's set her sights on a family in New England. Gigi previously has lived with kids, cats and other dogs. 

Hello my peeps! Who’s excited for the 4th of July fun? I am! Well, excited for everything but the fireworks because you know they scare us pups, so keep us close and safe. But I’m all about a picnic, backyard barbecue, or pool party! I’m GIGI, a patriotic, female, 71 pound, mixed breed girl who would love to spend this weekend, and every weekend forward, with you! I recently came to the shelter when my owner, who loved me, just couldn’t care for me anymore. I’m a sweet girl, you can tell I lived in a home and was loved. Got a hot dog to spare? I’d love one!
