She’s got the look…. Blocky, pretty, smiling and with a beautiful natural tail.  And she wants her own forever family in New England!  Our ~4 yr old rottie girl Athena joins us in New Hampshire after she lost her family in a house fire.  She is eager to please and will do anything for a squeaky toy or stuffie. While she has a tiny bit of PTSD, she takes only a little time to gain confidence and trust.  Athena now trail walks and hikes and has made both human and canine friends in her foster home. She wants to try anything once – and is waiting for you to do that with her.  She will do best in a home without cats and chickens and while she’s social with all people (including the vet staff!), she’d rather not be overwhelmed in a home with younger kids.  Athena is ready to go and is accepting applications on our website 4theloveofdog.org ​
