My name is Darla. I am a young mixed breed. The vet thinks I am about 3 years old. I weigh about 50 lbs. I have a clean bill of health! Not much is known about my past. I am a bit shy of new people and places. Once I get comfortable with my humans I love to nap and snuggle. I like to follow my people around the house to be close to them. When I feel safe I get a little pep in my step, wiggle my butt, and do happy jumps. I like to romp around in the yard! I do well in my crate for naps and sleeping at night. Please give me a comfy bed and blankets. Sometimes I need a little coaxing with some treats to go inside. I do understand “crate” well, and “Darla come.” I do well with my paws handled. You can cut my nails anytime. Baths are fine; I’ll show you my puppy eyes. I learned how to use a snuffle pad… (I love my nose work) and lick pad. I like to chew tough dog bones or kongs.
