​Meet Sassafras aka Sassy. 

Earlier this summer, she had puppies in a SC shelter. The shelter asked us to take her and the babies and said they were rottie mixes. The puppies died within 2 days (no milk) and we wouldn't leave mom at the shelter. 

Fast forward to July when we meet Sassers. She's 37 lbs and a petite girl. Probably not an ounce of rottie in her, but when the shelters see black/tan, they say "rottie rescue!".  

She is very very sweet, submissive, and fun-loving. Currently in foster with multiple other dogs, Sassy is available to a NOT-WEILER home... meaning no insurance issues, no neighbors with their noses out of joint, and small enough for an apartment! 

And yes, someone did hack her ears off with .. probably scissors.
