Three year old Rico joins us from NYC. Rico is all rottweiler, all boy and all handsome! He's exactly what a rottweiler SHOULD be. Confident, aloof, smart and pack-oriented. Rico seems to prefer dogs smaller than he. He has no experience with kids. He has a fair amount of obedience training and he is crate trained. Rico would like to find a rottweiler owner who doesn't expect him to be something he isn't.

Volunteer notes: "Tall, dark and handsome are the three first words you might think of to describe Rico. When we first met and I saw his tiny tail wagging I was immediately smitten. The more you get to know him, 'tall, dark and handsome' can be replaced with goofy, exuberant and affectionate! He wants to be the apple of your eye and if you leave him for even a moment, a look of pure terror will flash across his face.... until he sees you coming back and breaks into that big goofy grin of his."
