​Two year old Maxx was surrendered to an urban NY shelter by his owner. His former owner says that Maxx is good with other dogs and originally lived in an adult only household. Maxx does well with other big dogs but should not live with small dogs or cats.

He likes to play with balls stuffed, ropes and chew toys. He has been kept mostly indoors and eats both wet and dry food. His favorite treats are milkbones. When using the bathroom he will go on the grass or cement. When left in the home he is well behaved but his owner has crated him when they leave ever since he was little. Maxx knows how to sit stay and give paw. "

​Maxx is a gentle giant who loves all people and it looking for someone who will continue his training and give him plenty of exercise.
