Hi I'm "Big Gurl" aka BG. My friends just call me "Bee". I have lived my whole life as part of a busy family with five children. Three are grown now but two rambunctious boys now ages 6 and 8 have kept me young at heart. Did I mention I'll be 8 years old soon? My foster mom says I don't look a day over 4! Needless to say I am a sweet girl who loves to hang out with her humans. Toys are not something I care about much. I would appreciate a nice comfy couch! Do you have one of those? I am healthy and looking for a family that will continue my weight loss program so I can enjoy continued good health well into my senior years. All this means is not overfeeding me, skipping treats and making sure I walk at least a mile a day. I'm not an Olympic athlete but I am very smart and learning so new tricks would be fun for me. I don't have any food bowl issues with humans. I am currently being evaluated for my affiliation with other dogs. Initially I was growly with some polite females who approached me in my kennel but I acted fine with males. Small animals are also unknown at this point but when I was allowed to go up to a kitty in a crate at least I didn't try to snack on her. My strong suit is my pleasant nature with people. My previous home had a year old male pit bull and a 6 month old female pit bull. I tolerated them fairly well but they were transitioned in slowly. I don't allow other dogs to get near my food bowl. I growl and warn them off. Now that I've been on a diet and clean my bowl, this really has not been an issue.
