​ Charlotte is an approximately 11 month old tan & white Pit mix, she is approx. 45 lbs and fully grown, spayed and heartworm negative, and up-to-date on shots.  Charlotte was found neglected and scared, chained all by herself in the back yard of an abandoned house.  She was covered in filth and surrounded by garbage and construction debris.  Fortunately for this sweet girl she has had a 180 swing in fortunes.  Since being rescued several months ago she has blossomed into a well-mannered but still frisky and playful pup.  She currently resides in her foster home with 3 other dogs (both large and small), 3 cats, a lizard and 3 children ages 7-11.  She is friends with all of them and does not have a wicked bone in her body, her only issue is most of her canine companions are older than her and would rather be left alone than play and prance around.  Therefore, her bestest bud in the house is the Chihuahua mix.  They play together until he gets tired and then he growls until she goes away.  Charlotte is a teenager but still has some of that happy puppy charm that makes her curious about the world.  She loves her toys and loves being in the family room surrounded by around everyone.  She can sit and mostly stay, she has no food aggression but eats as though every meal is her last meal.  She is house broken and has no problem sleeping through the night but is still crated by her foster parents out of caution.  She is good on a leash and walks like a proper lady.  Charlotte is an all-around winner.
