Basic Info

Luther is said to be a 9 year old Rottweiler that was raised from a 3 month old pup by his previous owner. Unfortunately, due to a newborn entering the home that has respiratory issues, Luther can no longer be in the home. He is said to not have any injuries or health problems. In foster care, Luther is silly, social and playful. He loves affection and has perfect house manners. His current foster home includes a teenage boy and 4 other large breed dogs.  His former owner indicates that Luther is gentle with the baby. 

For a New Family to Know

Luther is described as friendly, affectionate, confident and shy at times. His activity level is described as high. His favorite activities are playing with his toys and long walks. At home, he tends to remain in the same room as his owner. He likes to play with balls, stuffed toys, and squeaky toys & tug rope. He likes to tug, play fetch, chase and wrestle. He has been kept mostly indoors and sleeps in his dog bed hat is normally left in the hallway. Luther is used to eating dry dog food, two cups twice a day. He is said to be house trained. He usually goes potty in the grass and dirt. When left alone in the home, he is said to be well-behaved. He knows how to sit on command, as well as lie down, come, stay, heel and paw. For exercise, he likes brisk walks on leash. On the leash, he does pull lightly but when off leash, stays close buy your side.
