Maddie was adopted as a puppy and then returned at a year to an urban NY shelter. This lovely girl is 85 lbs, and happy in a family environment. Maddie is great with other dogs of all sizes and defers to whoever the leader is at the moment. She is in foster care with other dogs and school-aged kids. Maddie has lost her left eye as the result of what was an untreated birth defect. This doesn't affect her at all - other than she's no longer in pain. An awesome, wonderful, sweet 14 mo old girl.
