She has she come a long way! Now knows the difference between inside and outside. Not saying there won't be any accidents in the future, as I can't remember adopting any dog in the past when that didn't happen. As she loves being outside, can't always tell when it's for fun or 'business' when she goes to the door.
Counter surfing has not been an issue for weeks, perhaps due to having plenty to eat. Was definitely a trash dog, but been a couple weeks for that also without incident.
Breaks my heart that they haven't reached an accommodation, and are not likely to do so.
Karley is a very sweet and affectionate girl that seems to have not only been starved for food but also for affection and some direction.
Started feeding her in crate, but now eats with Buddy. Would say she is not safe with kids while eating, but working on that. Comes pretty well when called. And sadly, if you yell her name, cowers, which indicates to me something worse followed.
