Three year old Simba was surrendered to an urban shelter in NYC. He joins us after being put on the euthanasia list because the shelter ran out of space. 

They say there are cat people and there are dog people...But statistics show that the overwhelming majority of families have both!  And Simba will right fit into a home that has either cats or dogs, or both!  His previous owner, having to surrender him due to a recent move, indicates that Simba loved to play with the two cats he used to reside with and was playful and respectful to the other resident dog.  He reportedly enjoys baths, loves to play tug and gets along with children.  When I took Simba to the yard, he was at first a little nervous, anxious even.  But after a few minutes he began to relax and laid at my feet.  Or I really should say, laid ON my feet.  He made himself comfortable across my sneakers and when I would stop petting his back and face, he'd nudge my hand, signaling me to continue.  Simba is a sweet boy, who's eager to show what a great companion he could be in a loving home.  Ask to meet him today!”
